Davis College Sport Business Professor Inducted into NCEA 2025 Hall of Fame

Dr. Leah Fiorentino, an Expert-in-Residence and sport business professor in the Jacksonville University Davis College of Business and Technology was recently selected as a National Collegiate Equestrian Association 2025 Hall of Fame honoree. The induction will take place Friday, April 18, at the NCEA National Championship in Ocala, Fla.

"Dr. Leah Fiorentino's induction into the NECA 2025 Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of her exceptional contributions to the field of sport management,” said Dr. Barbara Ritter, dean of the Davis College of Business and Technology. “This honor speaks to the profound impact she continues to have on both her students and the broader sport community."

The NCEA Hall of Fame was established in 2024 with its inaugural class. The honoree must have made a great and/or unusual contribution in support of the NCEA in personal time, effort, performance and/or material and services over and above all ordinary expectations of the average supporter.
