Building Community and Residential Engagement: Programs in this category should focus on activities that promote the idea of connecting with others. The goal is to have a program that allow people to get out of the spaceship and explore new life. Examples include programs that support student development in independence, identity, and their impact on the world.

- Living on a Diverse Planet

Living on a diverse planet: Meeting others who are not like ourselves can be challenging but also a fun experience due to the variety of ideas and experiences. The goal for diversity programs are to encourage acceptance and celebrate diversity among individuals. We want people to step outside their “orb” and get out of their comfort zone, like trying something new that they normally would not do.

Advisors: Programs in this track will discuss practices for mission specialists (graduate and professional staff members) to ensure the success of their crew.

- Skill Building & Professional Development

Skill building and professional development: To adapt to the life on the new planet, resources must be used in an innovative manner. Sessions in this program track help us learn about ourselves as we move through the gravitational wave of our roles, programs will support us in developing skills to prepare us for the adventures which lie ahead.

Team Development: Programs in this category will focus on working together as a team. Students will be challenged to step up and lead when they have to, and step down sometimes to let other else lead.
