JU Spanish & Humanities in Spain
This three week program has been designed to expose students to the culture and language of Southern Spain. Students will live with experienced homestay families in Alicante and immerse in culture through daily classes, local activities, and day trips to nearby cities including Madrid, Valencia and Granada.
Students joining this program will enroll in two courses for a total of 6 credit hours. The program takes place immediately after the Fall 2024 semester concludes following Thanksgiving, and returns just in time for the Winter holidays.
By participating in this program, students will fulfill their Humanities amd Global Studies (for BS majors) core curriculum requirements, as well as JU's Experiential Learning graduation requirement.
This program is great for students with strict course schedules on campus (i.e. Aviation, Nursing) who are still interested in a study abroad experience.
