How to Get Involved

Attend a Green Dot Training

The Green Dot Workshop is an interactive training session that will enable you to increase your skills in observation, learn about different types of power-based personal violence, recognize situations of potential violence, and practice doing “Green Dot” moments.

Upcoming Open Training Sessions

Green Dot JU will be hosting VIRTUAL open Green Dot workshops throughout the year for students, staff, and faculty. These interactive trainings seek to empower participants to discover ways to be active bystanders and create a community that does not tolerate violence, and recognizes that we all have a role to play in ending it.

For more information about upcoming trainings, contact the Green Dot JU team at greendot@thewcj.org.

No trainings scheduled at this time.

Do a Proactive Green Dot

Proactive Green Dots are choices we make to establish the norms that violence will not be tolerated and everyone is expected to do their part to help keep our campus safe.

Students

  • Request an Overview Talk or Green Dot Workshop for your class/organization/group.
  • Follow Green Dot JU on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Hang a green dot poster in your residence hall room.
  • Encourage your friends to do Green Dots and have discussions about why ending power-based personal violence is important to you.
