Jacksonville University is honored to receive 904 Magazine’s Companies with Heart 2016 Award. This award honors those organizations that make a tangible impact on Northeast Florida through community service. Charitable giving is ingrained in many organizations’ corporate culture but there are still entities whose level of charity sets them apart from the pack. The Jacksonville University family is proud that our community engagement has been recognized by this prestigious award.

Partners in Philanthropy Award Recipient, 2016

Jacksonville University has received its second recognition for its philanthropic efforts by the Jacksonville Business Journal. On August, 5, 2016, the institution was recognized as a 2016 Partners in Philanthropy Award recipient in the "Large Company" category. The Partners in Philanthropy Award is given to those local businesses and organizations with outstanding contributions to philanthropic efforts. 

Spirit of Service Award Recipient, 2016

Jacksonville University is honored to receive HandsOn Jacksonville's 2016 Tillie K Fowler Spirit of Service Award. The Spirit of Service Award is given to those individuals, groups, or organizations that demonstrate longlasting and outstanding leadership in volunteerism. Jacksonville University was recognized for the over 30,000 combined community service hours contributed in the academic year 2015/16.
