About Our Partners
Jacksonville University has partnerships with a multitude of local, regional, and national non-profit, charitable, education, military veteran, faith-based, and other organizations. These strategic partnerships are designed to enhance the experiences of our students, faculty, staff and alumni; as well as to stimulate positive impact throughout communities across the globe. Renaissance Jax
Jacksonville University is the proud official Education Partner of Renaissance Jax, a non-profit organization dedicated to invigorating technology culture. As an official Lego League Affiliate Partner for FIRST, they help Jacksonville-area kids and teenagers explore their love for engineering and technology in a fun, educational environment that promotes academic and career achievement. JU will offer 5 scholarships to FIRST students in partnership with the efforts of Renaissance Jax. Learn more from the Office of Admissions.
5 Star Veterans Center
Jacksonville University has partnered with 5 Star Veterans Center on numerous projects throughout the years. Most recently, JU served the organization at the 2015 Charter Day of Service providing food for their veterans and landscaping necessities such as mulching and fence painting. Our partnership with 5 Star Veterans Center is an example of the commitment JU makes each day to the Military Veteran community of Jacksonville.
Duval County Public Schools
Jacksonville University serves a variety of needs for Duval County Public Schools. Most notably, JU Education Department students work directly in classrooms to impact the lives of elementary school students in the Arlington Community. Dolphin Athletic teams support the schools through readership programs and other service projects. Like the 5 Star Veterans Center, DCPS is heavily involved as a project facilitator for JU’s Charter Day of Service.
Feeding Northeast Florida
Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL) is our community’s newest effort to establish food security across 17 counties in Northeast Florida. Formed through a collaborative partnership between Feeding America and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, FNEFL’s regional food distribution center brings a new vision for hunger relief in our area. Jacksonville University is proud to support FNEFL, primarily through the outreach of our athletic teams.
