Day Camps
Jacksonville University hosts a wide variety of camps each summer for children ages 3 to 20. We offer several day camps with a range of experiences for kids in both academics and athletics. Grit Camp - Dates vary May through July
For children ages 6 - 12
Grit Camp is a summer sports camp designed to develop mental, physical, and emotional resilience in young people. As mental performance coaches, Grit camp counselors draw on the decades of entrepreneurial and athletic experience they have to teach campers life and success principles that will help them lead a happy and healthy life. Grit Camp's teaching tool is through field and court sports, as well as calisthenics (i.e. basketball, flag football, soccer, agility training, etc).

JU Men's Basketball Camps - Dates vary through early June
Ages vary for camps
Jacksonville University Men's Basketball Camps, hosted by JU Men's Basketball Head Coach Jordan Mincy, are designed to present your child with the highest level of college basketball while working on team and individual skills. Campers will learn from and be instructed by the current JU Men's Basketball coaches and players during the camps.

There are three different types of Jacksonville University Men's Basketball Camps. Please note that each camp is designed for a different age group on different days. The three camps are:
- Elite Camp - June 3 and June 4 for all boys in ninth through 12th grade
- Parent and Child Camp - June 11 for all children in kindergarten through seventh grade with a parent
- Individual Camp - June 5-8 & June 12-15 for all rising third through ninth graders

Jacksonville Volleyball Camps - Dates vary June through July
For girls ages 9 - 18
Focusing on the fundamentals and competitive aspects of the game, Jacksonville Volleyball Camps will provide campers with training in each of the major skills in a structured and educational environment. Campers will have the opportunity to be trained by Jacksonville University Volleyball coaching staff and student-athletes.
There are three different types of Jacksonville Volleyball Camps. Please note that each camp is designed for a different age group on different days. The three camps are:
- Skills Camp - June 13 and June 15 for all girls in seventh through ninth grade
- Little 'Phins Camp - July 9 for girls in fourth through sixth grade
- Dolphin Elite Camp - July 10 to July 11 for girls in tenth through 12th grade, including graduated seniors

Dolphin Baseball Academy - Dates vary June through July
For boys ages 8 - 13
Dolphin Baseball Academy has been a vital force in developing baseball talent for over 20 years. The camp continually captures the work ethic and fundamentals that result in a well respected, winning program that continually produces All-Academic student-athletes, as well as professional baseball players. The baseball camps and showcases are a great opportunity to take your game to the next level.
Dolphin Baseball Academy is hosted during the following dates: June 12-15, 19-22, 26-29, July 10-13, 17-20, 24-27

John Constable Elite ID Camp - Dates vary June through July
For girls ages 14 - 22
Join Jacksonville University Head Women's Soccer Coach John Constable, and members of the JU Women’s Soccer Team as they host soccer camps at Southern Oak Stadium at Jacksonville University. Coached by John Constable, the JC Elite ID Camp will focus on teaching the techniques and tactical tools essential for the NCAA Division 1 level college game.
John Constable Elite ID Camp is held on the following Saturdays: June 17 & 24, July 1 & 15

JU Marine Science Summer Camps
For children ages 14 - 18
Led by JU Marine Science Research Institute faculty, campers will be involved with all aspects of investigating marine environments, including choosing sampling methodology and sites through monitoring water chemistry, collecting, identifying and enumerating fish and invertebrate species, and presenting the collected data in graphical format. Campers will gain hands-on experience with standard marine science collection and monitoring equipment, as well as laboratory analysis methods, including working with OCEARCH at JU.
Along with St. Johns Riverkeeper staff, the faculty will be assisted by JU undergraduate marine science majors.

Jacksonville Men's Soccer Camps - June 5-9 & 19-23, July 17-21
For children ages 4 - 13
Jacksonville Men's Soccer Camp provides an excellent opportunity for all players to be instructed by the Jacksonville University Men's Soccer staff. Each participant will be instructed in all phases of the game: Technique, Intelligence, Speed, and Personality. Campers will also enjoy competitive games during the camp. This camp is designed for the serious soccer player - one who the interest and desire to play collegiate.

Dolphin Rowing Camp at Jacksonville University
For children ages 13-18
The Dolphin Camp is designed for both the experienced and novice high school rower (ages 13-18) looking to significantly improve their rowing ability. Instruction and coaching will be geared to the experience level and talents of each camper. The camp includes two - three daily practices on the water as well as active seminars on erg training, race preparation and body circuits. Rowers and coxswains alike are video-taped, to review and evaluate their personal form and technique. The staff will also lead discussions on the college admissions process, nutrition, training and life as a student-athlete. We will also utilize facilities on JU’s campus like the pool and outdoor volleyball courts for team building activities. Camp is geared toward beginner, intermediate, and advanced rowers and coxswains.
Campers will stay in the dorms on the Jacksonville University campus and will train out of the Negaard Rowing Boathouse, home of the Jacksonville University Rowing program. Our campers will get to experience life as a college student on the JU campus as well as row on the beautiful St. John’s River.
