Jacksonville University’s Keigwin School of Nursing (KSON) has been recognized by The Princeton Review as one of the Best Online Nursing School Master’s Programs for 2025, one of only six Florida schools to make the list.

“This recognition highlights KSON’s commitment to excellence in nursing education, particularly in the online space, where we continue to innovate and expand opportunities for aspiring nurse leaders,” said Dr. Lindsay Wolf, associate dean of nursing and chief academic nurse. “It reflects our dedication to academic rigor, student success and cutting-edge online learning experiences that prepare graduates to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.”

KSON’s online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is designed for working professionals, providing the flexibility needed to balance careers, education and personal responsibilities. Emily Bradley, a current MSN-Clinical Education student, has experienced these benefits firsthand.

“I started the online MSN-Clinical Education program in August 2023 while working full time and attending school part time,” Bradley said. “I’m beyond proud to say I will be graduating in May 2025. Walking across that stage will be an incredible moment as I become a Double Dolphin.”

Bradley chose the online MSN program for its adaptability and strong academic support. “The flexibility allows for a better work-life balance and self-paced learning,” she said. “The small class sizes provide personalized attention and mentoring, which enhances the experience — even virtually.”

The Princeton Review’s ranking acknowledges KSON’s student-centered approach, rigorous curriculum and strong faculty mentorship. Wolf emphasized how the program maintains a high standard of excellence for both in-person and online students.

“KSON stands out for its innovative curriculum, expert faculty and commitment to student success,” Wolf said. “Our interactive online platform ensures distance learners receive the same level of rigor, support and collaboration as on-campus students. We also connect students with top healthcare institutions, providing invaluable real-world experience and networking opportunities.”

As KSON continues to expand its online nursing programs, its focus remains on preparing future nurse leaders with the skills, knowledge and confidence to excel in their careers and make a lasting impact in healthcare.
