In 2013, MyJU was initially launched as a SharePoint portal, but over the years, it faced challenges in maintenance and user engagement. Recognizing the need for a more integrated and modern approach, we’ve reimagined MyJU into a unified digital experience for both students and staff.
Now, MyJU brings together two distinct platforms:
PhinSight
Driven by Ellucian Experience, PhinSight is the next-gen platform that serves as the central hub for staff and faculty, providing effortless access to key tools, resources, and information.
MyCove:
Designed for students, MyCove is our enhanced portal powered by Slate Technolutions.
It offers a user-friendly space for students to access academic services, financial
information, and their student success network

Although MyJU now offers dedicated applications for staff, faculty, and students, we’re excited to introduce PhinSight and MyCove as part of one seamless, integrated experience. Our goal is to create a cohesive, user-friendly platform that empowers everyone at JU to thrive. With this new approach, finding the right tools and resources is easier than ever, ensuring both staff and students have everything they need at their fingertips. The Teams Behind MyJU
The transformation of MyJU was made possible by two dedicated teams, each committed to enhancing the experience for students, faculty, and staff.
The MyCove Team, led by Dr. Teresa MacGregor Lovett, focused on developing a seamless, user-friendly student portal, ensuring easy access to academic services and personalized resources.
The PhinSight Team, led by Jon Baugh, worked diligently to integrate Ellucian Experience, creating a platform that improves administrative efficiency and accessibility for faculty and staff.
Through their collaboration, Dr. MacGregor Lovett and Jon Baugh ensured that while MyCove and PhinSight serve distinct audiences, the overall experience remains unified, intuitive, and effective. Their leadership has helped build a more connected and efficient digital environment for the entire JU community.
