Deposits

Jacksonville University's requires an enrollment deposit to register for classes. These enrollment deposits are non-refundable, and will be applied towards your first term tuition. If you have questions regarding your enrollment deposit, please contact the Office of Graduate Admissions and Professional Studies at graduateadmissions@ju.edu.

Student Health Insurance

All students who do not have equivalent health insurance must enroll in Student Health Insurance through the University. The cost for 2024-2025 is $4,391. Learn more about this requirement.

University and Course Withdrawals     

When a student officially withdraws from all classes, credit for tuition charges will be made based on the following percentage schedules:

Fall and Spring 15-week Semesters

  • First week of classes - 100% (Add/Drop week)
  • Second week of classes - 50%

Seven-Week Half Semester Terms

  • First week of class - 100% (Add/Drop week)

All Summer terms

  • Add/Drop period - 100%

Refunds of credit balances from financial aid will be available after aid is posted to the tuition account. Financial aid begins to be posted at the end of the drop/add period.

Students who completely withdraw from the University and received Title IV aid (i.e., Pell Grant, SEOG, College Work Study, Perkins Loan, Stafford Loan, or whose parents borrow on the PLUS Loan program) will have refunds calculated according to Federal law. Students withdrawing under these provisions should refer to the Title IV refund policies.
