Literacy makes all the difference.Master of Education in Reading Education
Why Choose Our Program?
Our program is committed to making a difference in K-12 children’s literacy experiences at the classroom, district, and state levels. Our goal is to prepare teachers in critiquing and synthesizing reading theory, applying diagnostic assessments, and incorporating instructional practices into curricular programs to enrich K-12 children’s educational outcomes. Our program:
- Is offered in 8-week sessions.
- Can be completed in two years (30 credit hours).
- Allows you to earn your reading endorsement and masters degree at the same time
- Is hybrid, meeting in person once a week.
- Welcomes students from a variety of educational backgrounds (K-12 teachers, administrators,
district leaders, Teach for America educators,
charter teachers, and more). - Is eligible for financial aid opportunities because it is a masters degree versus a certificate.
