Professional Information

Dr. Capeci is an Assistant Professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She co-leads the department as the MS SLP Program Director. Dr. Capeci's clinical interests include diagnostics, neurodiversity, and the impact of trauma on service delivery.  She has over 25 years of experience working in early intervention and school systems, with a particular love for the birth to three population. Empowering students to seek out evidence-based, functional, and inclusive treatment for underserved populations is a focus of her teaching and clinical philosophy. She has a particular interest in linking graduate student clinicians to meaningful service-learning opportunities.
