Professional Information
Dr. Pam Rillstone is a Professor in the Keigwin School of Nursing within the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences at Jacksonville University, and is the Psychiatric Mental Health Coordinator for undergraduate studies. She holds an ADN from Mobile College, a BSN from University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa, an MSN from University of Alabama-Birmingham, and a PhD from UF, all in the field of nursing. She also received her Nurse Practitioner from UF and holds certifications in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and in Thanatology. Dr. Rillstone’s interests and passions lie in grief and loss education and counseling, including loss survivorship, suicide prevention and survivorship, and stress reduction/life balance.
