Julie Anderson, originally from Atlanta, has lived in Jacksonville for seven years. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in history. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching with a major in social sciences from Emory University and her Master of Education with a major in guidance and counseling from the University of West Georgia. Julie began her educational career teaching Advanced Placement courses at the high school level where she then transitioned into guidance counseling. She also has volunteered her counseling skills to various charitable organizations in both the Atlanta and Jacksonville areas.

Julie lives in Jacksonville with her husband, their three daughters, and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and being at the beach.
