​Professional Information

Dr. Harvey is a native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Operation Desert Storm, with two deployments between 1990 and 1992. He has a total of twenty-eight years of nursing experience, with 17 concurrent years of experience in the operating room and educational arenas, three years medical surgical experience and three years of critical care experience.  Dr. Harvey is a nationally certified operating room specialist and a certified nurse educator.  His primary areas of nursing research includes surgical nursing, critical thinking and experiential learning.
