Professional Information
Britta Fortson, M.A., CCC-SLP is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Placement Coordinator. Professor Fortson specializes in the areas of diagnostics and dysphagia. Professor Fortson received two bachelor's degrees, a B.S. in Child Development from Florida State University and a B.S. and M.A. in Communication Disorders from University of Central Florida. Professor Fortson has been a practicing speech language pathologist for over 20 years and has worked with individuals of all ages with communication and/or swallowing disorders. Professor Fortson has a passion for clinical instruction and the importance of ensuring future speech pathologists are ready for the workforce.
