During Dolphin Dive In, all incoming freshman students are required to take the First Year Seminar course. Throughout the course, students will be introduced to their peer mentor for the year and engage with their class through various campus activities. This essential course is designed to help students build connections, develop skills, and immerse themselves in the Jacksonville University community.

Join Us ForParent Dive In
During Parent Dive In you'll have the opportunity to attend various breakout sessions, that will provide you with more information regarding campus resources for you and your student.
Parent Dive In concludes with the Matriculation Ceremony inside Swisher Gym. Mirroring our Commencement Ceremony, students don academic regalia and proceed into a formal ceremony to mark the beginning of their time at JU. The doors will open at 6:30. Click here to see the Parent Dive In Schedule.
