To support and maintain an effective working environment for the assistants, doctors, and patients, ensuring all clinical support tasks are efficiently carried out, inventory and ordering systems are created and followed, and infection control policies and procedures are followed at all times. The coordinator may act as a floater—providing help and instruction for the chairside assistants if necessary.
Other responsibilities—prepare exam rooms, perform chairside assistance to orthodontic service providers, and sterilize/maintain instruments on a rotating basis.
