Position Summary:


The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Health Sciences at Jacksonville University invites applications for the speech and/or language disciplines to apply for a full-time, twelve-month, tenure-accruing position for an Assistant Professor in speech language pathology with an expertise in pediatric language disorders and development as well as reading disorders.



Description of Essential Job Duties:
Develop and teach courses in the area of language development/language disorders/and reading disorders
This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required for this position. The University reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet organizational needs. 



Minimum Education Requirement:
PhD from an accredited program


Florida Licensure and CCC-SLP
Minimum Work Experience:
Current academic teaching
Program development and advancement



Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD in communication sciences and disorders.
