The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level starting in August 2014.

Responsibilities

​The ability to teach a broad range of lower-level and upper-level courses is desire. Jacksonville University offers B.A., B.S., and M.A. degrees in mathematics. The Department is committed to excellence in teaching, classroom use of technology, and small class sizes. The teaching load is 24 credits per academic year. On-line or evening teaching may be required.

Qualifications

​A Ph.D. in mathematics is required. 
All specialties will be considered, but applicants with a specialty in applied mathematics may be given special consideration.
