Position Description

Establish, manage and grow relationships with businesses, community leaders and JU internal groups with the goal of increasing revenues.​

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Evaluate current and identify new revenue-generating opportunities to sell to businesses
  • Renew current sponsorship relationships and attempt to increase the cash and trade commitments
  • Identify and solicit prospects to establish relationships and obtain cash and trade commitments
  • Create clear and concise sales and marketing pieces
  • Ensure advertising and sponsorship packages are fulfilled
  • Recommend ideas to promote a positive game day experience and increase fan attendance
  • Implement customer-focused ticket sales programs
  • Work with JU coaches to improve camp marketing and sales
  • Cultivate interest and support from the local community through networking
  • Develop partnerships with University groups to achieve the JU Athletics vision
  • Work with area sports associations to promote participation in JU Athletics
  • Identify and develop relationships with area sports professionals
  • Ensure business and community leaders have a positive impression of JU Athletics

  • Ability to engage and excite people
  • Ability to manage resources efficiently

Work Conditions:

  • Work is primarily indoors, but job does require work in the outdoor environment for sport operations
  • Attendance at evening and weekend events is required
  • Off campus, local, state and regional travel is required

Qualifications

Prerequisites Required for Position:

1. Minimum Work Experience

  • 10 years of related experience

2. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
