This is a good one:
MassMutual Scholars Program - A national scholarship program for high achieving college students interested in pursuing careers in the insurance and financial services industry.
The MassMutual Scholars program is funded by the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and is focused on expanding access and opportunity of higher education and employment to students who reflect the rich cultural diversity of our nation. We seek to increase the number of students completing college nationally, raise awareness of careers in financial services, and recruit and retain the top talent touched by our programs.
In 2014, MassMutual looks forward to offering $150,000 in total funding; assisting at least 30 students entering their sophomore, junior, senior, or fifth year of undergraduate coursework with a scholarship worth up to $5,000. Students must complete and submit for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form (FAFSA) at and be interested in pursuing a career in the insurance and financial services industry. Florida Sea Grant offers a wide range of scholarship and fellowship opportunities for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students. The Aylesworth Scholarship, for example, will pay a student up to $10K per year for the duration of their degree program and is open to any FL university student working in a marine related field. Information available at this website or go on Facebook, search for Florida Sea Grant, and 'like' our page. It is the first such page that comes up on a FB search, and is the one classified as a 'university' page.

Hurst Review Services & the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is offering Nursing scholarships to students pursuing professional degrees. Hurst Review Services, the fastest growing NCLEX Review Company in the country, and the AACN have partnered to award scholarships to students pursuing professional nursing degrees. The new scholarship program is available to pre-licensure students enrolled at member AACN schools (JU is a member school). Resume Genius, a US based industry leader in online career and resume services has launched a scholarship program, offering a $1000 fund to one lucky applicant. Whether you had a smooth, difficult or even funny moving experience, they’d like to hear from you.  The main purpose of this scholarship is to help other students to avoid obstacles when relocating to a new residence.
One $500 scholarship will be awarded each semester; totaling 2 scholarships over the school year.
The winners will be selected based on overall writing ability and the evaluation of tip/advice for students that are planning to move. The minimum requirement is that your story should include at minimum 500 words but not more than 800 words.

Sports Unlimited 2014 Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship.  This one is easy, take a 5-Question Survey and write a 500-1000 word essay.  It’s a no-brainer.  Well, it’s a brainer, but an easy-brainer.  Put some words together and what-not and then you can get one thousand dollars.  Describe a coach or mentor you've looked up to in your sporting career.  Deadline is April 20, 2014.  Details here.

The Company Corporation Business Plan Contest Prize is $1,000 and is awarded four times per year. The scholarship is geared at young entrepreneurs and business majors but is open to students in any field at both the undergraduate or graduate level. To enter, students must submit an original business plan (it can be something they created for a class, as long as it is their own work). You can learn more about the scholarship and enter here.

RE/MAX of New Jersey offers a new scholarship opportunity for high school and university students who are in pursuit of a college degree. Westway Electric Supply offers the Illuminating Ideas Scholarship - for high school and university students who are in pursuit of a college degree. A scholarship offered to the student who writes the best short essay on access to law per the guidelines set forth on Free Legal Aid is one of the oldest websites offering completely free legal resources. BistroMD Diet Delivery offers this Innovative Ideas for Health and Wellness Scholarship - A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one student each spring and fall semester. Write a 500 word essay discussing what you think is the largest contributing cause of obesity in the United States, as well as why you believe this is such a significant factor in the obesity epidemic in our nation. The College Fund of Pinellas County  raises money in order to help financially disadvantaged Pinellas County residents who have excellent scholastic potential, but insufficient funds to obtain a bachelor’s degree and thereby improve themselves, their family’s living standard, and their role in the community.  Once a student is selected, remains academically qualified, continues to receive a Pell grant, and continues to carry 12 or more hours, that student is supported for up to four years.Grants are up to $1,000 per school year ($500 per semester) for up to four years.
Minimum Requirements for a Student Financial Aid Grant
1.  Be a U.S. citizen residing in Pinellas County,
2. (a.) Be a high school graduate with a grade point average of at least 3.00, or
    (b.) Be a current or former college student who has demonstrated the ability to  complete at least 12       hours in a single term (semester, quarter, etc.) in courses credited  toward graduation
3.  Be a full time undergraduate student in a regionally accredited (e.g., Southern Association of Colleges & Schools) college or university, and
4.  Be a recipient of a Pell Grant.
Students who meet the foregoing four requirements may request an application form in order to apply for the fall 2014 - spring 2015 school year.  Simply print out and complete the Request for Application and mail it back.

DutchCrafters Heritage Scholarship:
For the 2014-15 academic year, the DutchCrafters Amish Furniture Heritage Scholarship will award three scholarships of $500 each. Disbursements of the award will be made in two increments of $250 each – one for the first semester and one for the second semester of the academic year. The award payment will be forward by DutchCrafters directly to the college or university for distribution. Awards are for undergraduate study only.

City of Jacksonville Jesse B. Smith Memorial Scholarship - Jesse B. Smith was a longtime point man for Jacksonville's economic development initiatives under four mayors.  The most notable work of this outstanding public official took place during his appointment as Deputy Director of the Planning and Development Department of the city from 1990-1995. B.Davis Scholarship - This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.  Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next.  This is not an academic scholarship but they would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.  Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation at this time. GreenPal Business Scholarship for Tomorrow's Entrepreneur - The purpose of The GreenPal Small Business Scholarship is to assist a motivated, driven student and future business leader. Goldstein & Hayes Scholarship Contest - As personal injury lawyers, Goldstein & Hayes understands that serious injury can be very devastating events.  They are very interested in these stories. They would like you to describe a time in your life when you have persisted in spite of great adversity.  The student with the best response to the essay will receive the scholarship. CLAY FORD SCHOLARSHIP -To encourage students to remain in school for the fifth year required to obtain a CPA license, a fifth-year minority scholarship program has been established, setting aside $200,000 per year in scholarships. Eligibility criteria for receipt of a scholarship includes at a minimum:
Financial need
 Ethnicity, gender or racial minority status pursuant to section 288.703(3) F.S.
 Scholastic ability and performance (including the intention of sitting for the CPA exam)
 Completion of 120 credit hours from an accredited institution in Florida

Often overlooked, they play a key role in the design of many streetscapes. Bollards are short posts, usually 36 to 52 inches tall, that are used to create architectural or anti-ram perimeters. They are most commonly recognized as the concrete-filled steel posts that protect storefronts, but bollards perform a wide variety of additional functions. Aside from preventing vehicle encroachment, they can also be used to highlight architecture, communicate traffic routes and to add definition or decorative value to streetscapes. The Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program for the Fall 2014 semester includes two (2) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000 scholarships, to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students with a declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life-science field. To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be enrolled in an accredited college for university for the Fall 2014 semester. Sutliff & Stout Scholarship Contest - As personal injury lawyers who frequently represent victims of auto accident injuries, they see firsthand the devastating effects of texting and driving. While there are hundreds, if not thousands of campaigns for texting and driving awareness, no one has come up with a way to definitively end the problem.  For this, the inaugural year of the annual Sutliff & Stout scholarship contest, they are asking students to come up with an idea and a prototype for technology that would prevent texting and driving altogether.  Then, create a prototype of that technology. The Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest - will require students to raise awareness about the problem of underage drinking and driving among their peers.
