Are there fellowships and or financial aid available?
Yes. Please fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student
Aid) and contact the JU Financial Aid office for details. To be
considered for any loans, you will want to complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov or at 1-800-4-FedAid (our JU school code is 001495). Also, contact Ms. Chris Lichi, Financial Aid Counselor at email@example.com or at 904-256-7956 after completing and submitting the FAFSA for non JU scholarships.
I have had some graduate work in the past. Can I transfer in credits?
No, all of the course work in the curriculum has
to be taken by all of the students. This is a lock-step program.
When I submit my portfolio CD or DVD,
should I submit one significant work, or a sample of different bodies of
work showing progression over time?
If you have one body of work that really
represents your artistic skill set and voice, it will be acceptable to
submit that. A sample of several works is preferred as it may show more
diversity in your skill sets allowing reviewers more insight into your
desired focus. The CD of digital images should not exceed 20 and/or the
DVD should be no longer than 12 minutes. In either case, CD or DVD,
each work should be labeled.

choice in the Fall or Spring semester working with the MFA Pedagogy

What will I do during the 1-week residency?
Graduate candidates will be enrolled in the
Pedagogy course and will work with the professor on designing a personal
week with JU Undergraduate visual art students, teaching classes and/or
facilitating group projects with the JU Undergraduates.
Is housing provided during the one week pedagogy residencies, or do I need to find my own housing?
