The core curriculum described in this section was designed for most degree
programs at the University. However, the faculty has approved alternative core
curriculum requirements for the following programs:
DUAL-DEGREE ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS
- Substitute CS 170 (Introduction to Scientific & Engineering Programming)
for CS 150.
- For students planning to complete their studies at Georgia Institute of
Technology - substitute either HIST 206 (History of the United States to 1865)
or HIST 207 (History of the United States from 1865) for HIST 150.
NURSING (BSN) REQUIREMENTS
- Exempt from core mathematics as long as MATH 205 (Elementary Statistics) is
completed.
