The JU MPP Program is one of the most affordable programs and best values in the nation. It is anticipated that tuition will be approximately $16,000 a year for the 2013-2014 academic year, or approximately $664 per credit hour, for a full time MPP student (assuming 24 credits a year). Part time MPP students will pay the per credit hour rate. Merit-based and need-based assistance is available to qualifying JU MPP students. All financial assistance is administered by the Jacksonville University Financial Aid Office.
Merit Based Scholarships
Merit based scholarship funds have been established for qualifying JU MPP students. Awards are based on the overall candidate application, including grades, test scores, resume, letters of recommendation and essay. Two merit based scholarship funds have been established: the JU Public Policy Institute Scholarship (“JU PPI Scholarship”) and the Haskell Company Teach for America JU Public Policy Institute Scholarship (“Haskell TFA-JU PPI Scholarship”). All JU MPP applicants are eligible to apply for a JU PPI Scholarship. JU MPP applicants who are Teach for America corp members or alumni are eligible to apply for a Haskell TFA-JU PPI Scholarship.
Applicants will be notified by email of award decisions.
