RickMullaney.jpgWelcome to the JU Public Policy Institute (JU PPI). At JU PPI, we believe public policy matters. We believe it shapes the future of cities, states and the nation. We also believe that a JU MPP degree can change your future. That is why an extraordinary faculty, University President, Board of Advisors, Board of Trustees and community partners came together to create the Institute and the first Master in Public Policy (MPP) Program in the state of Florida.

After graduating from law school more than 30 years ago, I had the privilege of representing private and public interests. Representing individuals is rewarding and important. But public policy affects more than individuals. It shapes the future of the nation.
At JU PPI, we seek to prepare our graduate students for leadership roles in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Not only does our MPP curriculum and faculty provide the substantive knowledge to lead and succeed, we seek to provide the analytic, quantitative, communication and leadership skills so fundamental to transformational leadership and diverse career opportunities involving public policy.
The JU MPP Program is committed to its students and excellence. Our Board of Advisors is comprised of extraordinary business, civic and community leaders with diverse policy expertise and passion. The JU MPP Internship Program includes a diverse network of private, public and non-profit organizations, including the Florida Governor’s Office, congressional offices, CSX Corporation, the Community Foundation and multi-billion dollar public authorities. And the capstone policy project in the second year of the MPP Program uniquely provides JU MPP students with real world policy experience.
