Professor of Economics
J. Rody Borg received his B.A. degree from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama with majors in Economics and History and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In graduate school Dr. Borg specialized in Economic History, Industrial Organization and Labor Economics. Dr. Borg joined the Jacksonville University faculty in the fall of 1984 and was named Professor of the Year for 2006. During his time at JU he has served as Director of the MBA Program, Director of the Center for American Free Enterprise, Chair of the Faculty, and two terms as Interim Dean of the Davis College of Business.
