Resource Professor of Accounting and Finance
Van Seaton received his Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration from University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, a Master of Science in Commerce from St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO, and Ed.D. with a cognate in Accounting, from University of North Florida. Dr. Seaton has a diverse background in corporate finance and accounting, with experience in Commercial and International Banking, Investment Banking, and Government Finance. Dr. Seaton’s teaching and research interests include Performance Management, Organizational Theory, Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement and various accounting and finance topics. He serves the community in his role as an audit committee member for Community First Credit Union of Florida, as a member of the board of the FEI Northern Florida Chapter, and also as a member of the Board of Governors for the Northeast Florida Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
